Yoga Day

Today, when the world is realizing the importance of Yoga but in India it has been practiced from the ancient time of the Yogis.This day was celebrated enthusiastically and students were informed about the importance of yoga and it can help one to remain healthy. Students also performed different Aasanas with the yoga teacher.

Hindi Diwas

Nukkadnatak was performed by grade 7 & 8 students to imbibe the knowledge and importance of the Hindi language.

Vigilance

The Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year across India to promote integrity in public life and achieve a corruption free society.

Cosmos Castle International School Green Campusobserved the Vigilance Awareness Week from 8 October to 2 November, 2019 with the theme of “Integrity- A way of life” to mark the birthday of SardarVallabhbhai Patel and to bring social awareness among the students.

A special assembly was conducted to sensitize students about the various wrong practices and how one should be vigilant. Students made posters to create awareness to eradicate corruption. The topic was included in the teaching plan too and students were able to give suggestions to put an end to existing corruption in the administration. The objective of the programme was to stop corruption in future and make the students honest and responsible citizens of India.

Students of grade 6 to 8 made aware about the corruption and the cybercrimes.Students created awareness about how to ‘ Say No’ to the corruption by speaking in assembly about it.

Swachhata Mission

Swachta abhiyan was organized to create awareness for cleanliness.

As part of the campaign for Swachh Bharat-SwachhtaPakhwada (CBSE), various activities were conducted in our school, COSMOS CASTLE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL GREEN CAMPUS to create awareness among the students regarding Cleanliness and the ongoing cleanliness drive “Swachh Bharat” started by our respected Prime Minister, ShriNarendraModi.

 In the month of August, SwachhtaShapath was organized on the very first day of the Pakhwada, wherein all the students of the school participated to understand about the importance of cleanliness and sanitation and role of school has been instrumental in realizing the mission of Swachh Bharat. 

A rally and NukkadNatakwas also organized to create awareness about “Cleanliness and Hygiene” .Swachhta Awareness messages were displayed.Thus, all the above activities conducted by the school, enabled it to take this mission of Cleanliness to the community, thereby creating mass awareness.

Ek bharat , shresht bharat

Students along with teachers enthusiastically participated in ‘Ek bharat shresht bharat’ activities like ‘Food in diversity’, ‘Regional bhasha learning’, ‘Storytelling activity’.

“Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’’ (EBSB) programme was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister on Ekta Diwas (31st October 2015) on the occasion of birth anniversary of SardarVallabhbhai Patel to foster national integration through a co-ordinated mutual engagement process between States, Union Territories, Central sports,Tourism and other forms of people-to-people exchanges. The objective of the activities under this will be to celebrate the Unity in Diversity of our nation. To maintain and strengthen the fabric of emotional bonds between people of our country. To showcase the rich culture, customs and traditions of either state for enabling people to understand and appreciate diversity thus fostering a sense of common identity.

Children were exposed to the alphabets, song, proverbs and 100 sentences in the languages of the partnering State.

Constitution week

Honouring the ideals of democracy,CCIS S.G.Campus celebrated 70th Constitution Day by reading out the preamble of Constitution in the school campus spreading awareness about rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution.

Plantation

To imbibe the importance and the role played by the tree and nature in the students ,Plantation of  saplings were done in and around the school campus.

Pariksha Pe Charcha

Pariksha pe charcha was an interaction between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and students to overcome the stress of Exams.

Hygiene week

Our school ‘Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus’ celebrated Swachta Pakhwada to raise awareness about the benefits of hand washing and thereby maintaining good hygiene and remain disease free.

Students learnt about wet, soap, rub, rinse and dry their hands in a proper manner.

To commemorate Hand Wash Week Students of Cosmos Castle International Green Campus were short briefed about the need to maintain proper hygiene followed by an instruction which clearly indicated that proper hand hygiene can significantly reduce the spread of harmful bacteria and other germs that can lead to diarrhea, vomiting and other harmful infections. Students were asked to wash their hands with the help of soap dispenser, method to rub the palm and fingers. Students also taken oath for maintain the sanitization of hands regularly.
