Kiddies of CCIS Green Campus paint their moods in shades of blue”* On Friday,2nd August, CCIS Green Campus turned blue in colour to celebrate ‘Blue Day’. The significance of blue day was reiterated through a series of activities. Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. We tried to showcase this serene colour to the little ones in many different ways. Clad in blue dresses, children were made to recognize blue colour through different games and activities. We also used visual delight through picture presentation on blue coloured objects such as blueberries, sky, blue whale, dolphins, bluebells etc. thus providing the kids opportunities to have a clear understanding and its importance. Children also saw the marine life under the ocean created on the bulletin board with dolphins, blue whales abd octopus. They created The Giant Aquarium – dabbing, colouring and pasting cut-outs of fishes. They enjoyed playing a modified version of Musical Chair -Musically Blue-move to the sound of the music and quickly find a blue shape to stand on when the music stops. The kids were excited to carry home a blue whale made out of paper glass as takeaways. It was indeed an invigorating, reviving and rejuvenating experience for the children.
