JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION in the Kindergarten section of CCIS Green Campus Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by Kindergarten to Grade 2 at COSMOS Castle International School, Green Campus. The aim behind the celebration was to bring awareness among the children about traditional customs while enjoying the pranks of Lord Krishna. Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebration when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit. The most significant event of the program “ Dahi Handi”, was also organized for the little ones. They loved watching the story clips of the birth of Lord Krishna and also the story of Krishna - Sudama Everyone took part in the celebration and it was a fun-filled morning. To keep the joyous festive spirit alive, the children were encouraged to celebrate the festival with their families.

*वक्रतुंड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ: निर्विघ्नं कुरुमेदेव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ।। Ganesh Chaturthi, the birthday of Lord Ganesha was celebrated on Tuesday, 30th August 2022. The children in Kindergarten came dressed up in yellow color traditional clothes. The legend of Lord Ganesha was narrated with animation, to the children as a classroom activity. They enjoyed the story about how young Ganesha acquired his trunk! To increase the enthusiasm for Ganapati Bappa, Art and craft activities were conducted. Children made trunk-shaped masks and put them on. The students of Grade 1 and 2 made Ganesha out of leaves. Children were very thrilled and enthusiastically molded beautiful Lord Ganesha out of clay. They enjoyed making ladoos with oreo biscuits. The festival brought devotion, creativity, understanding, and learning. Overall it was an enjoyable day for all.

COSMOS CASTLE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL GREEN CAMPUS -KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATES YUMMY YELLOW DAY “Shades of yellow stimulate our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism…” With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour, the Pre-Primary Section of Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus celebrated “Yellow Day”. A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. They were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects and yellow snacks to make it a complete “Yellow Day”! The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of the yellow colour, and its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students. An array of fun activities-song, rhymes, sorting, fingerprinting, yellow chick craft, etc. were conducted that evolved around the colour yellow. Children spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

Colourful Rainbow brought down at CCIS Green Campus Kindergarten section Colourful Rainbow from the sky was brought down to Cosmos Castle International School, based on the theme “Colours” Vibgyor Day (Rainbow Day) was celebrated It was indeed a fun-filled experience for the little ones while they were made to understand how the phenomena of nature work. The key objective behind conducting this activity was to deliver the concept of “Rainbow colours” to the children through engaging hands-on activities. This would help further enhance their fine motor skills & boost their ability of visual discrimination also. As part of this activity, the pre-primary students presented a wonderful handcraft that was very well-planned in order to bring out the seven colours of a rainbow and to depict kindergarten learning through seven senses and colours. The activity was successfully carried out by respective class teachers through a demonstration of an experiment-The Walking Rainbow. The idea behind this celebration was to develop an awareness of the colours in an interesting way that will ensure higher retention and learning outcomes. The students also crafted clouds with the rainbow in their art and craft session. They showed their full excitement in mixing paints to get secondary colours It was indeed a fun-filled day for the little wonders as they were seen completely engaged in practical activities.

Culture and language can help in bridging divisions along the lines of region, religion, language and ethnicity etc. India with its rich history of diversity of languages, religions and cultures co-existing for centuries is apt for propagating the theme of unity in diversity. The students of *Cosmos Castle International School, Green Campus* celebrated *Unity in Diversity.* The students dressed in traditional attire of different States of India did a cultural ramp walk, to spread the message of unity in diversity. The students’ performance showed patriotic fervour on the occasion. Such programmes would help the students to understand the significance of staying together with all diversities. The short yet significant programme etched the spirit of “ *Ekta* ” amongst all.

*RED DAY CELEBRATION* The *Kindergarten* Section of Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus celebrated ‘ *RED DAY’* on Friday,8th April to introduce kids to the mesmerizing realm of colours. The day started off with the colour red everywhere. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The shades of red made the kids feel bright, lively and cheerful. Teachers displayed red objects on the table and decorated the display board with red craftwork and balloons. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to understand the concept of Primary Colours. The kids enhanced their communication skills as they confidently participated in the “Show and Tell” activity in their classes describing the Red object they brought from home. They enjoyed Watermelon Party and made headbands as a craft activity to take back home. It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness

Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus organizes Puppet Show.* The Puppet Show organized by the Kindergarten section enthralled the tiny tots as they watched their favorite characters come alive. The show was planned to enable the kids to learn to converse and formulate their thoughts and words to the best. The children were amazed to see their favorite stories like The Hare and the Tortoise, The Lion and the Mouse, and Old Mac Donald unfolding before their eyes. The dynamic teachers engrossed the children with the use of creative puppets thereby encouraging them to be a part of the story. The show of Puppets changed the entire classroom developing more possibilities for creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and curiosity.

*KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATES EASTER* When April comes around and beautiful flowers pop up everywhere and the leaves start turning green again, one can feel spring in the air. We also know Easter is on its way and it’s time for celebration in Kindergarten. Easter is the time for colorful eggs, fluffy bunnies, and much to do. It all started with Circle Time. The story of the Easter Bunny was shared with the children during Circle Time. Some fun activities were picked up and used to celebrate Easter in the classroom. Children made easy and fun Easter Crafts and Easter Bunny Puppets to incorporate various art techniques and fine motor work. They enjoyed Bunny Hop Game. It was a fun way to get children to practice hopping and gross motor development. EASTER was a really fun time for our kids at Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus.

Kiddies of CCIS Green Campus paint their moods in shades of blue”* On Friday,2nd August, CCIS Green Campus turned blue in colour to celebrate ‘Blue Day’. The significance of blue day was reiterated through a series of activities. Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. We tried to showcase this serene colour to the little ones in many different ways. Clad in blue dresses, children were made to recognize blue colour through different games and activities. We also used visual delight through picture presentation on blue coloured objects such as blueberries, sky, blue whale, dolphins, bluebells etc. thus providing the kids opportunities to have a clear understanding and its importance. Children also saw the marine life under the ocean created on the bulletin board with dolphins, blue whales abd octopus. They created The Giant Aquarium – dabbing, colouring and pasting cut-outs of fishes. They enjoyed playing a modified version of Musical Chair -Musically Blue-move to the sound of the music and quickly find a blue shape to stand on when the music stops. The kids were excited to carry home a blue whale made out of paper glass as takeaways. It was indeed an invigorating, reviving and rejuvenating experience for the children.

In recognition of the importance of sports in a child’s life, Sports Day of Kindergarten Section (2019-20) of Cosmos Castle International School was celebrated on 25th January 2020 in the campus. The idiom “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” holds true even for the young learners. Sports, whether team-based or individual, provide not just physical activity, but also help build children’s self-esteem, confidence, social skills and motivate them to excel in life. The day started with a March Past by all the students of kindergarten which was followed by spectacular PT drill, umbrella drill and yoga. Children participated in large numbers in engaging and innovative races like Elsa’s School Bag, Word Snap, Red Avengers, Fishy Flashy, Tunnel Tinder-land, Dora’s Blooming Garden which got the crowd cheering. At the end of the event, parents also had some fun participating in group races. It was exhilarating to look at little ones cheering for their parents.All the children were given medals which brought a smile on their faces. The kids were given crowns as takeaways which they happily took with them.

Colours are indeed what makes the world look beautiful and bright! The colour RED signifies love and compassion. The kindergarten section of Cosmos Castle International School celebrated “Show and Tell – Red Day” in their homes this week. Children dressed up in red attire in their homes and spoke on red objects like strawberry, tomato, chilli, car, balloon, cherries, apples and many more. Children also recited the rhyme “Red Red Apples” which talks about the various objects in red colour. Even though the celebration was in their safe zones at home, the virtual world was all lit up and bright with such wonderful little children speaking, smiling and reciting rhymes in their red clothes. CCIS organised this activity to help the children build their language skills and it also gave them opportunity to learn about various red coloured objects. These activity was also organised to develop a sense of confidence among the children at an early age. We are overwhelmed with the response and would sincerely like to thank all the parents for making this activity activity a success! Stay Home! Stay Safe!

Kiddies of CCIS Green Campus learn the meaning , role and responsibility of community helpers. A community helper is any person who helps with our overall health and well being.

It was indeed a joyous celebration at CCIS! Our little children presented the Nativity Scene with children dressed as real characters. Children’s performed group dances and sang Christmas Carols which made atmosphere Christmassy. Students also shared messages on kindness, generosity, honesty and helpfulness.Santa also made a grand entry in the campus which was very exciting moment for children. They came dressed as Santa, Fairies and Christmas tree. They also coloured and decorated Christmas trees as a group activity. Students of Primary had Christmas card making,collage making and drawing competition. Students beautifully presented their expressions of Christmas through this competition. Today Campus was filled with joy,happiness and lots of excitement. Everyone greeted each other Merry Christmas and happily sang Jingle Bells. CCIS family wishes everyone A Merry Christmas!

Kiddies of CCIS green campus celebrated republic day . The day when the constitution of india officially came into force. Kids were dressed as freedom fighters and participated in fancy dress competition.

Green the colour of peace, prosperity, and harmony. 1. CCIS Green Vegetables Shop: A vegetable shop was created with real vegetables to educate the children about the benefits of eating green vegetables. 2. Importance of Trees to save Earth: Grow more trees to keep our surroundings Green for a peaceful and healthy life. 3. Green Takeaways : Children were given caterpillars as a takeaway which was coloured by themselves to recognise the colour Green 4. Word G R E E N : To help children build their vocabulary and practice phonics a puzzle with alphabets GREEN was solved by kids with lots of fun! The day ended with smiles and happiness!

Yellow Day Celebration: “Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with energy and optimism” CCIS celebrated Yellow Day on 12th July 2019 for the kindergarten section. A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were beautifully dressed and brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”! Tiffins were filled with bananas, pulao, poha, smileys, etc. Attractive yellow coloured toys like racing cars, Tweety, balls, balloons, flowers and masks made the learning environment active and sporty. The ground was decorated with lots of 3d creativities like Lion, Tweety, Bus, Honeybees, Sunflowers etc. Children coloured Duck, played games, had selfies and many pictures with their buddies. The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop their fine motor skills. Children spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

A Rainbow mesmerises us with its beautiful colours. Today a colourful rainbow from the sky was brought down to CCIS S G Campus by our tiny tots. Kindergarten students celebrated VIBGYOR DAY where the little ones came dressed in various colors of Rainbow.The main objective of the activity was to deliver the concept of ‘Rainbow colours’ to tiny tots.

TINY TOTS OF CCIS GREEN CAMPUS came dressed as animals , movement of animals. Role play is one of the simplest ways to understand and recreate what happens in a childs environment.

The kids of CCIS green campus were recited stories with the help of puppets. Puppets are a good way to deliver information to students and help them retain it. Puppets offer children an engaging way to interact and explore their knowledge and understanding of the world.

TALE-E- THON (Story Telling) by tiny tots of CCIS Green Campus. Listening to stories is 'edutainment' and narrating them is an art!!! We at CCIS GREEN CAMPUS , Kindergarten spare no opportunity to usher our children to engage with stories, to promote new wonder in them even whilst helping exercise their tender imaginations. In continuation to this endeavour of ours and to encourage our children enhance their linguistic skill, we conducted a story telling competition on Friday , 5th July , 2019. Students resplendently narrated the moral stories using picture clues, story cards , puppets etc. The children created their own version of the story and delivered it with utmost confidence. To watch children create stories from the clues was incredibly satisfying. It proved again that children could be as creative and imaginative as they want with no limits. The freedom given to their creativity and imagination without stifling, will help them grow into a confident individual.
