Celebration
A VIRTUAL EVENT AT CCIS GREEN CAMPUS POSTER MAKING to mark the EARTH DAY Students of CCIS GREEN CAMPUS celebrated World Earth Day amid the locked down for Covid-19 pandemic from the safety of their home. April 22 this year marked the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.To draw everyone’s attention to the Earth’s wellbeing and call people to support environmental protection, achieve clean air, water and flourishing forest land for life to prosper on the planet, our children of Grade 1 to 8 of Green Campus took part in Poster Making. Having to celebrate virtually and spend time at home actually has benefits. There is a lot to be learned from this period of slowing down, staying at home, and digging into our very immediate environment. On this Earth Day, as everyone stays at home, we can take stock and re-imagine our carbon footprint moving forward, and try to carry some of the positive practices forward. The notion of doing more with less and being mindful of our consumption could be translated into a positive and a real benefit for our living planet. Kudos to the students!
