RAKSHABANDHAN Celebration at CCIS Green Campus The Kindergarten section of CCIS GREEN CAMPUS celebrated Raksha Bandhan with the full zeal and endeavour that one associates with this auspicious festival. The main objective behind celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was to make the children aware of the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. The kids in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi on the wrist of their brothers, offering sweets, performing aarti, rakhi making and colouring activities. The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION in the Kindergarten section of CCIS Green Campus Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by Kindergarten to Grade 2 at COSMOS Castle International School, Green Campus. The aim behind the celebration was to bring awareness among the children about traditional customs while enjoying the pranks of Lord Krishna. Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebration when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit. The most significant event of the program “ Dahi Handi”, was also organized for the little ones. They loved watching the story clips of the birth of Lord Krishna and also the story of Krishna - Sudama Everyone took part in the celebration and it was a fun-filled morning. To keep the joyous festive spirit alive, the children were encouraged to celebrate the festival with their families.

Janmashtami celebrations at CCIS Green Campus Janmashtami is one of the important festivals in India. It is a day when we honor and celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna - the eight incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Janmashtami was celebrated on Thursday, 18th August 22. The aim of this celebration is to bring awareness among the children about traditional customs while enjoying the pranks of Lord Krishna. Children on that day came in colorful attire-Girls as Radha in chaniyacholi and boys as Krishna and colorful traditional attire. Inter-House Drawing Competition was also conducted to mark the occasion.

CCIS Green Campus celebrates 76th Independence Day Students, parents, and staff of CCIS Green Campus celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal. The Founder Trustees, Mr. Suresh Agarwal Sir, Mrs. Charu Agarwal Ma'm and Principal Dr. Saleema Chaudhary Ma'm hoisted the National flag. Trustee Ma'am and Principal Ma'am addressed the gathering and urged them to keep the flag of our nation flying high as the responsible citizens of tomorrow. The atmosphere got charged up when the students performed beautiful dances with patriotic feelings as the theme, nukkad natak and Snapshot to pay a tribute to our nation's freedom fighters, army, and other services. The students of the Primary section paid their respect to the great National leaders of our country by dressing as them. The cultural program refreshed the memory of the bravery of the courageous soldiers who wrote a tale of valor.

*Kindergarten section of Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus celebrates Holi in a Special Way* The festival is filled with so much fun and frolic that the very mention of the word ‘Holi’ draws smiles and enthusiasm amongst all. Holi also celebrates the arrival of Spring, a season of joy and hope. We at Cosmos Castle International School celebrated this festival with a lot of zeal too. First, we educated our kids about the festival and its significance, Kids were explained about the ill effects of using chemical-based colors, wastage of water, and pollution. They played Holi using flowers and danced to the tune of Holi Aayee! They also made Holi cards for their parents. We had a colorful time with our kids at our Holi celebration

Holi Hai!!! Students of the Primary Section of CCIS Green Campus, Bopal, enjoyed their colourful activity Holi activities in the school. True to its essence, the festival of colour vibrance was visible in the face and sparkling eyes of our students as they enjoyed the card making, hand printing and chart painting with hand impression. They watched a movie about the story of the festival of Holi and how to play responsibly with colours. We wish all our students, parents and staff members a colourful and safe Holi!!!

CCIS Green Campus - Kindergarten Section celebrates Guru Purnima गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु र्गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्मा तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः Cosmos Castle International School believes in inculcating traditional values in the students. Kindergarten children celebrated Guru Poornima on Wednesday,13th of July. The day began with a happy note with children singing the Guru Stuti and aarti. This was followed by the students seeking the blessings of Director Ma’am, Principal Ma’am, and all the teachers by applying tilak and touching their feet. The activity was organized to make the children aware of this auspicious day. Here are some of the glimpses of the event.

*वक्रतुंड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ: निर्विघ्नं कुरुमेदेव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ।। Ganesh Chaturthi, the birthday of Lord Ganesha was celebrated on Tuesday, 30th August 2022. The children in Kindergarten came dressed up in yellow color traditional clothes. The legend of Lord Ganesha was narrated with animation, to the children as a classroom activity. They enjoyed the story about how young Ganesha acquired his trunk! To increase the enthusiasm for Ganapati Bappa, Art and craft activities were conducted. Children made trunk-shaped masks and put them on. The students of Grade 1 and 2 made Ganesha out of leaves. Children were very thrilled and enthusiastically molded beautiful Lord Ganesha out of clay. They enjoyed making ladoos with oreo biscuits. The festival brought devotion, creativity, understanding, and learning. Overall it was an enjoyable day for all.

Ganesh Chaturthi, the birthday of Lord Ganesha was celebrated on Tuesday, 30th August 2022. To increase the enthusiasm for Ganapati Bappa, Art and craft activities were conducted. Students in Primary and middle school enthusiastically made beautiful eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganesha and masks.

Students of the Primary Section celebrated Easter by making beautiful bunny masks, bunny headband, and pencil stand under the guidance of their teacher. Students had great fun in this art n craft activity in the school.

August 23rd 2019; CCIS GREEN CAMPUS celebrates JANMASHTAMI Culture Education is an essential aspect of the curriculum. Understanding this importance and glorifying Indian traditions with the young generation, Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus wore a festive look on 23rd August,when Janmashtami-the birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great pomp and festivity. Janmashtami pujan was organized to create awareness regarding the festival. The children came in traditional dresses. Boys dressed as Krishna and girls dressed as Radha gave a classic touch to the entire celebration. Beautiful decorations were put to make this event cheerful and colourful. The girls presented beautiful dance forms- `Yasomati Maiya Se Boley Nand Lala', and ‘Radha Dhoond Rahi Kisi Ne Mera Shyam Dekha’. This was followed by a traditional aarti. A ‘MatkiPhod’ event was organized to mark the mischievous nature of ‘Bal Gopal’. The children were overjoyed when they broke the Dahi Handi. They sang and danced on the tunes of garba. It appeared as if Green Campus turned into Gokul for a short while where Lord Krishna had spent his childhood.

July 29th 2019: World Nature Conservation Day was celebrated at CCIS Green Campus with a lot of thought provoking posters and sharings by the students of primary and the middle school section. The inter house poster making and the extempore competition witnessed the expression of the students as they see their world in future...the not so Grown-ups,expressed very convincingly the responsibility they want to share with the Grown- ups in conserving the nature and the earth. Kudos to the talent of CCIS Green Campus!!!

*Christmas Celebration*at CCIS GC As part of our curriculum, students explore and celebrate all major festivals from around the world. It is part of exploring world cultures and inculcating tolerance among the young ones. Christmas is a time to give and forgive. Celebrated everywhere as a joyous family affair, we too, at school celebrated Christmas as a happy time for our children. “We wish you a merry Christmas…”, “Dashing through the snow…” filled the air with festivity. Little Santa too made a grand entry and gave adorable poses to click. The delight was uncontained especially as Take Aways were given and santa tattoos were made on their pretty faces. Merry Christmas to all!!!

A VIRTUAL EVENT AT CCIS GREEN CAMPUS POSTER MAKING to mark the EARTH DAY Students of CCIS GREEN CAMPUS celebrated World Earth Day amid the locked down for Covid-19 pandemic from the safety of their home. April 22 this year marked the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.To draw everyone’s attention to the Earth’s wellbeing and call people to support environmental protection, achieve clean air, water and flourishing forest land for life to prosper on the planet, our children of Grade 1 to 8 of Green Campus took part in Poster Making. Having to celebrate virtually and spend time at home actually has benefits. There is a lot to be learned from this period of slowing down, staying at home, and digging into our very immediate environment. On this Earth Day, as everyone stays at home, we can take stock and re-imagine our carbon footprint moving forward, and try to carry some of the positive practices forward. The notion of doing more with less and being mindful of our consumption could be translated into a positive and a real benefit for our living planet. Kudos to the students!

The spirit of Easter celebration was brought alive by the students and teachers of CCIS Green Campus as they crafted beautiful bunnies, eggs and roses, as a gift for their family members ,from the safe environment of their home as guided by their teachers. The most awaited dance festival - Navaratri enthralls the CCIS Green Campus. The school celebrated Navratri festival on Tuesday- 9th Oct.The children came in traditional attire and each one of them were at their best. The entire colours of Gujarat were seen in their pretty ghagras and Kediyus worn by all participants. The children and parents danced and did garba on the tunes of melodious songs.A special performance was given by the students of grade 1 and 2.The teachers also were not far behind with grit and no grizzle as they matched to the nimble steps of their students. The best garba attire and the best garba dance was awarded. It was a day of fun and revelry for the students. Garba Celebration was a gala affair for everyone.

Rakshabandhan is a celebration of abiding and immaculate the bond of love between brothers and sisters. Kindergarten celebrated Rakshabandhan a day early on Friday, marked by usual fervour and gaiety that one associates with this auspicious occasion. Children were found donning traditional attire during the day. Girls dolled themselves up in beautiful outfits. As far as traditions and rituals are concerned, the girls prepared the" pooja thali" with diyas, roli, chawal. They brought rakhi and sweets from home and tied rakhi to the boys and offered them sweets. The mythology behind this festival was explained to the children. Students showed keen interest in the occasion and beautiful environment was made full of joy and love. This celebration was aimed at strengthening the bond of love and to instil the virtues of love and harmony among the young growing minds.

Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus The auspicious festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated at CCIS Green campus. Special assembly dedicated to the teachers, the ‘gurus’ ,to mark the event replete with song and prayer. Students read shlokas from the Gita which highlighted the importance of the Guru in our lives. Head Boy and Head girl of the school completed the event by honouring the teachers by tilak of haldi and kumkum

Sare Jahan Se Accha Hindostan Humara Hum Bulbulain Hai Iski, Yeh Gulsitan Hamara August 15th 2019: 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus,Bopal withlot of enthusiasm and zeal!!! We at Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus have always encouraged kids to be aware of the glorious history that India boasts of and such celebrations are a way to bring them closer to the Indian culture and history. With this motive in the heart and to inculcate the spirit of patriotism group song and Inter-house dance competition with Patriotism as the theme was organised.The premises decorated with tri coloured flags and balloons and teachers all dressed in tri coloured attires further raised the patriotic spirits of the kids.

Students of CCIS celebrated Vasant Panchami in the campus by offering prayer to invoke the goddess and seek her blessing.
