YOGA DAY-Today, the world is realizing the importance of Yoga but in India it has been practiced from the ancient time of the Yogis.This day was celebrated enthusiastically and students were informed about the importance of yoga and it can help one to remain healthy. Students also performed different Asanas with the yoga teacher.

To commemorate Hand Wash Week Students of Cosmos Castle International Green Campus were short briefed about the need to maintain proper hygiene followed by an instruction which clearly
indicated that proper hand hygiene can significantly reduce the spread of harmful bacteria and other germs that can lead to diarrhea, vomiting and other harmful infections. Students were asked to wash their hands with the help of a soap dispenser, a method to rub the palm and fingers. Students also took oath to maintain the sanitization of hands regularly.

The Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year across India to promote integrity in public life and achieve a corruption free society.

Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus observed the Vigilance Awareness Week from 8 October to 2 November, 2019 with the theme of “Integrity- A way of life” to mark the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and to bring social awareness among the students. A special assembly was conducted to sensitize students about the various wrong practices and how one should be vigilant. Students made posters to create awareness to eradicate corruption. The topic was included in the teaching plan too and students were able to give suggestions to put an end to existing corruption in the administration. The objective of the programme was to stop corruption in future and make the students
honest and responsible citizens of India.

Students of grade 6 to 8 made aware about the corruption and the cybercrimes. Students created awareness about how to ‘ Say No’ to the corruption by speaking in assembly about it.

As part of the campaign for Swachh Bharat-Swachhta Pakhwada (CBSE), various activities were conducted in our school, COSMOS CASTLE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL GREEN CAMPUS to create awareness among the students regarding Cleanliness and the ongoing cleanliness drive “Swachh Bharat” started by our respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji.

In the month of August, Swachhta Shapath was organized on the very first day of the Pakhwada, wherein all the students of the school participated to understand about the importance of
cleanliness and sanitation and role of school has been instrumental in realizing the mission of Swachh Bharat.

A rally and Nukkad Natak was also organized to create awareness about “Cleanliness and Hygiene”.

Swachhta Awareness messages were displayed. Thus, all the above activities conducted by the school, enabled it to take this mission of Cleanliness to the community, thereby creating mass awareness.

Panthi Dance, Folk Dance of Chhattisgarh is one of the important dance forms of Chhattisgarh State of India. This Indian folk dance is a prominent ritual of the Satnami community of Chhattisgarh. The community celebrates the anniversary of the birth of Guru Ghasidas on Maghi Purnima. The panthi is performed on this day.

To present, students of Cosmos performed different forms of pyramids on the regional song of Chhattisgarh. The dance begins with swinging of hands on the music. The dancers gradually bend
their torso and swing their arms and continue to do so till they get carried away by their devotion. They indulge in acrobatics and even form human pyramids as the rhythm quickens. The different formation is made by students to the various rhythmic tunes played on the mandar drum and the jhanjh. Children with their vivacious dances enthralled the audience

Water is the most precious gift of nature. It is an essential component of life and is vital for sustenance. Without water nothing can live, thus water conservation has become a need of the
hour. So, we should all stand together to conserve water to save life.

To motivate the thought students of Cosmos took a Pledge to ‘Save Water and Never Waste It’.

Pariksha pe charcha was an interaction between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and students to overcome the stress of Exams.
