Sanket Shah
Academic Head“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding.” — William Paul Thurston
Sanket Shah came into education through the classroom and stayed because of what happens inside it. As a Mathematics educator turned Academic Head at Cosmos Castle International School Green Campus, his career has been shaped by one enduring belief: a live classroom is a thriving classroom, and no leadership role should ever pull an educator too far from that reality.
His years as a Mathematics teacher left a tangible mark. He has personally guided over 1,000 students through the subject, not by drilling formulas, but by dismantling the anxiety that surrounds them. His Live Classroom sessions, built around real-world applications of mathematical concepts, became a defining feature of his teaching years and continue to shape how faculty at CCIS approach instruction today. He has since extended that impact by training 100+ educators in modern, engagement-first pedagogy that prioritises conceptual clarity over rote delivery.
As Academic Head, Sanket works at the intersection of strategy and practice, overseeing curriculum standards, guiding faculty development, and ensuring the school’s academic vision translates into every lesson delivered. His approach to leadership mirrors his approach to teaching: he builds rapport first. When teachers feel genuinely supported and students feel personally connected to their mentors, the capacity for learning at every level grows beyond measure.
