COSMOS CASTLE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL -KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATES 'YUMMY YELLOW DAY'* “Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism…” With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour, Pre-Primary Section of Cosmos Castle International School celebrated “Yellow Day”. A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. They were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects and yellow snacks to make it a complete “Yellow Day”! The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students. An array of fun activities-song ,rhymes, sorting, finger printing, yellow chick craft, etc.. were conducted that evolved around the colour yellow . Children spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

Colourful Rainbow brought down at CCIS. Colourful Rainbow from the sky was brought down to Cosmos Castle International School, based on the theme “Colours” Vibgyor Day (Rainbow Day) was celebrated It was indeed a fun-filled experience for the little ones while they were made to understand how the phenomena of nature work. The key objective behind conducting this activity was to deliver the concept of “Rainbow colours” to the children through engaging hands-on activities. This would help further enhance their fine motor skills & boost their ability of visual discrimination also. As part of this activity, the pre-primary students presented a wonderful handcraft that was very well-planned in order to bring out the seven colours of a rainbow, to depict kindergarten learning through seven senses and colours. The idea behind this celebration was to develop an awareness of the colours in an interesting way that will ensure higher retention and learning outcomes . The students also crafted cloud with the rainbow in their art and craft session and also did a group activity They showed their full excitement in mixing paints to get secondary colours It was indeed a fun-filled day for the little wonders as they were seen completely engaged in practical activities.

RED DAY CELEBRATION The Kindergarten Section of Cosmos Castle International School celebrated ‘RED DAY’ on Friday,8th April to introduce kids into the mesmerizing realm of colours. The day started off with the colour red everywhere. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The shades of red made the kids feel bright, lively and cheerful. Teachers displayed red objects on the table and decorated the display board with red craft work and balloons. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to understand the concept of Primary Colours. The kids enhanced their communication skills as they confidently participated in the “Show and Tell” activity in their classes describing the Red object they brought from home. They enjoyed Water-melon Party and made headbands as craft activity to take back home. It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.

Mathematics gives us hope that every problem has a solution In an effort to lay a strong foundation in mathematics subject, COSMOS CASTLE International School organized a Math Fun Event for the little ones on 15th July 2022. The purpose of this event was to teach the students about basic mathematics in a simple and playful manner. The plethora of activities were planned by the teachers for the students during the day. The day-long activities enhanced the thinking and math problem-solving skills of the young ones. The event was a success in intriguing the students about the exciting world of Mathematics

KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATES EASTER* When April comes around and beautiful flowers start to pop up everywhere and the leaves start turning green again, one can feel spring in the air. We also know Easter is on its way and it’s time for celebration in Kindergarten. Easter is the time for colourful eggs ,fluffy bunnies and so much to do. It all started with Circle Time. The story of Easter Bunny was shared with the children during the Circle Time. Some fun activities were picked up and used to celebrate Easter in the classroom. Children made easy and fun Easter Crafts and Easter Bunny Puppets to incorporate a variety of art techniques and fine motor work. They enjoyed Bunny Hop Game. It was fun way to get children practice hopping and gross motor development. EASTER was a real fun time for our kids at Cosmos Castle International School.

GREEN DAY CELEBRATION Everything around us is an array of colours. Green is the most common colour in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory expressing renewal, life and energy. In order to teach our children about the uses of colours in their immediate environment and to help them to develop an understanding of green colour in many forms, Cosmos Castle International School organized Green Day on Friday,10th June,2022. All the students and teachers came dressed up in the different shades of green and the classes became vibrant with the beautiful green backgrounds. Students were taught the identification and recognition of green vegetables, leaves, trees and various green objects. To provide sensory experience to our kids for exploring this colour, Finger printing/Palm printing activity was also conducted. Children also took part with great enthusiasm in all activities and games related to green colour. They displayed their creative skills using their tiny magical fingers. These activities helped children to develop fine motor coordination, focus, encourage self-expression and stimulate creativity. Children participated well and learnt green colour with keen interest. Green Day was a practical learning experience for the children and was very enjoyable.

The Earth is what we all have in common* Earth Day is all about working together as a community to improve the state of the world. CCIS celebrated Earth day to take step towards sustainable environment by organising activities which has given students opportunity to show their care for the Mother Earth . Green fashion show was organised where Students got dressed in green attire as Mother Earth. 400 Students planted saplings which will reduce erosion and pollution. Students also had non fire Green Master Chef competition which has helped them to understand the value of food and efforts are made behind any special dishes. Students also presented nutritional value of the food through which it made them understand that it protects us against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer Here’s beautiful glimpses of today’s Earthy Day

Cosmos Castle International School organizes Puppet Show The Puppet Show organized by the Kindergarten section enthralled the tiny tots as they watched their favourite characters come alive. The show was planned to enable the kids to learn to converse and formulate their thoughts and words to the best. The children were amazed to see their favourite stories like The Hare and the Tortoise, The Lion and the Mouse and Old Mac Donald unfolding before their eyes. The dynamic teachers engrossed the children with the use of creative puppets thereby encouraging them to be a part of the story. The show of Puppets changed the entire classroom developing more possibilities for creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and curiosity.

Kids of Cosmos Castle International School paint their moods in shades of blue Kids of Cosmos Castle International School paint their moods in shades of blue” The Kindergarten section celebrated Blue Day on Friday 17th June,22. It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for all. The significance of blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities. The dress code of the day was blue Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. All the children came dressed up in different shades and hues of blue. The classrooms were decorated with blue balloons and children were introduced to different shades of blue. Children were made to recognize blue colour through different games and play-way activities. An array of blue coloured objects. were at display thus providing the students opportunities to have a clear sense of the colour and its importance. Children enjoyed the activities with immense enthusiasm and zeal.

Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy during the “ *Best out of Waste”* competition held on 8th July 2022 in *the Preprimary Section of Cosmos Castle International School.* The competition focused on bringing an understanding among the children about preserving the environment by reusing and recycling waste material. Fantabulous ideas were demonstrated using materials like newspapers, old CDs, used plastic bottles, ropes, ice cream sticks, bangles, shoe boxes, etc. We were glad to see the enthusiastic parents who took out their valuable time and made a special bond with the children helping them display their creativity

Blue Day was an amazing learning experience. A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were beautifully dressed and brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”! Tiffins were filled with bananas, pulao, poha, smileys, etc. Attractive yellow coloured toys like racing cars, Tweety, balls, balloons, flowers and masks made the learning environment active and sporty. The ground was decorated with lots of 3d creativities like Lion, Tweety, Bus, Honeybees, Sunflowers etc. Children coloured Duck, played games, had selfies and many pictures with their buddies. The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop their fine motor skills. The Kindergarten Section of Cosmos Castle International School S G Campus made the environment colourful with the celebration of Flowers Day Show & Tell. The objective behind the celebration was to make the children learn about different flowers innovatively which has a long lasting impact on their minds and also exposes them to the world of flowers. The teachers taught the children about the different flowers, their textures and colours. They talked about different types of flowers, its importance and uses.Our tiny tots dressed up as different flowers like rose, sunflower, lotus, etc. They coloured flowers as an activity for the day. The whole atmosphere looked very refreshing with children’s dressed up as different coloured flowers. They also carried different flowers with them. Children’s laughter and giggles added to the beauty of the day. VIBGYOR DAY A Rainbow mesmerises us with its beautiful colours. Today a colourful rainbow from the sky was brought down to CCIS S G Campus by our tiny tots. Kindergarten students celebrated VIBGYOR DAY where the little ones came dressed in various colors of Rainbow.The main objective of the activity was to deliver the concept of 'Rainbow colours' to tiny tots.

NAND GHAR ANAND BHAYO, JAY KANHAIYALAL KI, HATHI GHODA PAALKI, JAY KANHAIYALAL KI! The students of CCIS SG Campus celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. Principal Mrs Priyanka Saxena along with the teachers did the Pooja on the occasion of Janmashtami along with the kids. The students dressed up as Krishna and Gopi, filled the atmosphere with their giggles and happiness. The students presented an enriching Speech and dance on Lord Krishna during the program. The children were excited for breaking the Dahi Handi. CCIS believes in nurturing children through both academic proficiency as well as cultural activities. This presents a perfect occasion to teach the children about the rich Indian heritage. The day ended by wishing each other A Happy Janmashtami!
